OK I'm with you on the quilt... I really like the design blocks, love the colors, and I am a sucker for that old fashion flavor. But the strip blocks are just too blah.
The design pops where the golden mustard yellow is against them, makes the colors sing...it is a pretty quilt, but you know I like the bright jewel tones. I would put it on my bed, I would roll up in it on this snowy day, no problem. Rad
I agree with your husband I think that it's beautiful, and I think you do a lot better than trying to sew, looks like you sew just fine, unless you just have a hard time finding the time.
